Local Business Retention & Expansion Committee Receives Grant for Concert Series
Free summer outdoor concerts are offered by “Sounds of Spirit Lake,” a committee that grew out of the recent University of Minnesota Business Retention & Expansion Study conducted by the City of Menahga. The committee was awarded a Community Arts Access Grant by the Five Wings Arts Council which will assist the committee in reaching the goals of bringing free cultural events to the community, promoting Menahga as a destination for quality cultural events and meeting local business concerns with an influx of visitors.

The concerts will be held on the shore of Spirit Lake near the beach area. Those wanting to attend are asked to bring their lawn chairs and/or blankets to listen in a casual relaxed atmosphere.
