Sounds of Spirit Lake Concerts

Free summer outdoor concerts are offered by “Sounds of Spirit Lake,” a committee that grew out of the recent University of Minnesota Business Retention & Expansion Study conducted by the City of Menahga. The committee was awarded a Community Arts Access Grant by the Five Wings Arts Council which will assist the committee in reaching the goals of bringing free cultural events to the community, promoting Menahga as a destination for quality cultural events and meeting local business concerns with an influx of visitors.

This grant money, which comes from the Legacy Fund that the voters of Minnesota approved in 2008, pays for 25% of the total cost of the summer concert series.
